Kerry Blows Spy Cover,

I had a sinking feeling the entire democratic campaign for Presidency that Kerry was the wrong man at the right time for the job. What I means is that I could not accept voting for Bush's continuance in office. The cartoons, snidely drawn, of him domestically gardening with Condi overseas in a subtle European comment on Condi's "husband remark" in the Economist if anything tells me that the Europeans just don't take us seriously anymore except in a bull in a China shop fashion. Look at it yourself.

I don't care that GWB has a mistress. I don't even care that he and she and Laura are either in complete denial or having old people menage a trois in Crawford, TX when Condi stays there for long weekends. I just don't care. I do care that our country is the subject of a snide European joke because Condi isn't respected as a diplomat other than being GWB's squeeze.

Just look at the picture! The Europeans are laughing at us!!! Look at it! No wonder why nothing ever goes right at the White House!

However I can understand why some people couldn't bring themselves to vote for Kerry either. Apparently Kerry blew Otto Reich's cover. Now I don't care if Kerry wanted to blow Otto Reich's cover. If he did he should have had one of his minions quietly do it! Just like Bush and Cheney did when they blew Plame's cover! You can't be seriously considered for President of the United States of America if you can't even remember how to use your minions properly so that you can wash your hands of the whole situation. Now I don't recommend what Bush or Cheney did either. That was a fairly fumbled mess which is why it made it in front of a grand jury. Rove really screwed up on that one because there's hard evidence out there to implicate him. However what Kerry did was even more ham-handed. I've never met a bunch of such utter fucking incompetents at skullduggery.

Maybe I should just fucking conquer the world myself and run it.

When was Otto Reich undercover?

Whose smoking crack this time, oldman?

Nice to see you back posting, though.

LOL touche'. When I rewrote the post for BOP I was more careful to cover my ass by not attributing the undercover agent to being Otto Reich. Call it natural caution since I knew I was tired and was not on my best game. I do make mistakes - and I acknowledge them like now.

Well, I'm embarrassed that I wrote "whose" instead of "who's," so perhaps we're even.

It is nice to see your blog active again.

OK, who's complaining that Kerry revealed an agent? Is it the CIA, or some republican officials, or the media, or some thuggish bloggers?

Answer: It was republican officials, followed by the media and the bloggers.

Oh well. If there are rumors that Bush is having an affair with a black woman, would that help him with black citizens more than it hurts him with socially-conservative whites? My guess is that it would, so long as it doesn't become official. The socially-conservative whites wouldn't believe it and the blacks would.

Incidentally, six months ago it looked like Bush was going to have his own way for 4 years. Now it looks like there's a reasonable chance he'll be a lame duck president for 3 years or more. Depending on how good legislators are at distancing themselves from them, there could be a democratic majority in the house in 2006 and maybe in the senate by 2008. Would we be better off with a president who can't lead? These are critical years. Nobody else can lead while Bush is in the way. If he can't lead either.... There's an old army saying that it's better to do something, even the wrong thing, than to do nothing. But probably we are better off with the ship of state adrift than with Bush leading. The army saying was based on the assumption that army officers aren't idiots.

I just came across a great gardening website called AtlGardening.com*. Not only does it feature articles for the gardening enthusiast, but has become a great waterfall garden
resource for me in my landscaping effort. The webmaster of this site has recently added a book section that seemed to expand everytime I go there.
What I like about it is that I get instant access to the book and don't have to wait for the book(s) to arrive which of course saves me money.....no shipping charges.... in some cases. Great idea. I love it. You must check it out today. Let me know what you think.
